What is EMBRA?
EMBRA is a full-body red light therapy mat. You lay it on your bed, lie down and press one button. 1,410 small LEDs shine red and near-infrared light on your back, hips and legs.
The brand sells one main product: the mat. It comes in two kits. The Mat Kit is the mat alone, plus a free belt for the low back or knee. The Bag Premium is a bag you lie inside, so the light reaches your front and back at once.
EMBRA is sold by Marketing and More LLC, a US company in Miami, Florida. It sells only online, at embrabody.com.

How red light works
Think of each cell in your body as having a tiny battery. Red and near-infrared light goes under your skin. Cells use that light to make energy. Researchers think this is why tired muscles and joints can feel looser.
EMBRA uses two kinds of light. Red (660 nm) works in the upper layers. Near-infrared (850 nm) goes deeper, toward the muscle.

These are studies of red/near-infrared light, not of the EMBRA mat. No mat can promise a result. Individual results vary.
What a session looks like

Roll it out on your bed, lie down and press start. The mat feels warm, like sun on your back. Wear the goggles from the box. It fits any bed, couch or floor.
EMBRA pros and cons
What we like
- 60 nights to decide. Used is fine, prepaid label, no restocking fee.
- 2-year warranty, and the new part ships first.
- Neck to calves in one session. No moving a small pad around.
- One button, 20 minutes, then it shuts off.
- Free relief belt for the low back or knee.
What we don't like
- $699 is a lot of money, even on sale.
- Slow shipping: 7–10 business days. Some brands ship in 2–5.
- You need 20 minutes lying still, most nights.
- Results vary. Studies show averages, not a promise for you.
- 1,410 LEDs. Two other mats list 3,840.
- HSA/FSA is not listed on the EMBRA site.
- If you return the mat, the free gifts go back too.
EMBRA vs. other full-body mats

Swipe the table sideways to see all five. Source: each brand's website. Prices checked Oct 10, 2026; returns, warranty and shipping checked Sep 28–29, 2026. *HigherDOSE has two return pages that disagree; its refund page says 14 days, unopened. †Text on the page also says 71″ × 31″.
Our take: Nuvio is cheaper and ships faster, but only takes unused returns. HigherDOSE is bigger and takes HSA/FSA, for $500 more. EMBRA is the lowest-priced mat here that you can send back after real use, with the label paid. Read our full comparison of red light therapy mats.

Is this EMBRA review independent?
No. The Home Wellness Journal is published by the team behind EMBRA (Marketing and More LLC). We based this review on EMBRA's specs, published research and EMBRA's return and warranty terms, and other brands' public pages. We did not run a lab test. That's why we list the cons and link to the full comparison.
How we put this review together
We based this review on EMBRA's published specs, published research on red and near-infrared light, and EMBRA's return, warranty and shipping terms. We compared other mats using each brand's own pages. We did not run a lab test. About us.
